Job summary

Magellan Aerospace Middletown is seeking a Quality Engineer II to determine, plan, and control quality requirements across manufacturing processes. The role involves mentoring within the quality department and applying APQP tools to ensure product conformance.

The incumbent will work with 6S initiatives, Nadcap/AS9100, ISO standards, and lead investigations to drive continuous improvement while supporting supplier quality activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (engineering) or an Associate with related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to interpret technical docs.
• Ability to apply algebra and geometry to practical problems.
• Experience with quality planning and inspection principles is expected.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers on process and tool development.
• Develop and maintain inspection and test methods from FAI through production.
• Review control plans and FMEA to identify critical control points.
• Lead process improvement and assist in audits and supplier quality activities.
