Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a Quality Engineer I to support operational and development programs, enabling zero defect projects. You will assist with inspections, testing, non-conformance management, and documentation, while helping implement AS9100, NADCAP, and quality processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering, Material Science or Metallurgy, or 4+ years aerospace quality experience.
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Ability to work under ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

Support writing procedures and analyze data.
Review PO,s specs, and drawings to ensure quality requirements are met.
Assist with First Article Inspections (FAI) and quality plans.
Maintain the quality management system and participate in CAPA.
Perform inspection and testing of materials and products to ensure quality.
Support MRB activities and disposition of nonconforming material.
Utilize PFMEA and measurement system analysis to improve processes.
Participate in gage R&R studies and other metrology activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and corrective actions.
Support supplier audits and quality improvement plans.
