Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products Corp. (CPP) is seeking a Quality Manager - Aerospace to establish and run a robust quality management system for aerospace components.

You will lead the QA team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO/Nadcap and customer requirements. Based in the Syracuse area, you will collaborate with customers and manufacturing operations to minimize defects, manage certifications, and guide quality programs while supporting CPP’s growth and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 8+ years in a Quality Assurance leadership role; aerospace experience preferred.
• Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ, Lean Six Sigma certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain QMS processes to deliver outputs.
• Report on QMS performance to top management.
• Promote customer focus and maintain QMS integrity during changes.
• Develop and manage policies to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Ensure awareness and conformance to AS 9100, ISO, Nadcap and customer requirements.
• Ensure training and certification in QA programs.
• Work with key customers on quality issues and audits; provide QA leadership.
• Report performance and improvement needs to executives.
• Acquire additional certifications as required; maintain a safe, organized work area.
• Comply with safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies; ability to work at the Syracuse facility.
