Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products Corp. (CPP) Chittenango, NY, is seeking a Quality Manager - Aerospace to lead the Quality Assurance team and drive the company’s quality objectives.

This role ensures the quality management system delivers defect-free products while maintaining compliance with AS9100, Nadcap, and customer requirements. The successful candidate will collaborate with operations to optimize processes and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• 8+ years in a Quality Assurance leadership role; aerospace experience preferred.
• Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ, Lean Six Sigma certifications strongly preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to communicate across all levels and with customers; working knowledge of ISO/AS9100/Nadcap requirements.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement and maintain quality management processes to deliver outputs that meet requirements.
• Report on quality system performance and improvement opportunities to top management.
• Promote customer focus and ensure integrity of the quality system during changes.
• Ensure training and certification in quality programs for applicable employees.
• Lead the Quality Assurance department and coordinate with executives on performance and improvement needs.
• Work with key customers during audits or certifications and maintain compliance with requirements.
