Job summary

RTX is seeking a Quality Engineer for an onsite role in Melbourne, FL. You will program AOI equipment, ensure defects are detected, and support production with quality expertise.

The role supports internal and customer audits, containment of nonconforming material, and ongoing quality improvement efforts. Candidate should have a university degree and up to 2 years of relevant experience, with familiarity in GD&T, AS9102, and SAP ERP.

Responsibilities

• Program AOI equipment.
• Ensure programs detect all defects.
• Answer questions on workmanship criteria and defects.
• Provide Quality Engineer support to Production.
• Containment of nonconforming material.
• Support internal and customer audits.
• Assist quality data collection for long-term strategy.
