Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to support on‑the‑floor manufacturing activities. You will serve as the technical quality bridge among product inspectors, production, and quality engineering, performing instrumented inspections and FAIs per AS9102, while ensuring compliance with GD&T standards.

The role requires aerospace inspection experience, proficiency reading drawings and working knowledge of SAP/ETQ or similar systems. Onsite US-based position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires aerospace manufacturing or quality inspection experience.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications is required.
• Familiarity with GD&T and dimensional inspection methods desired.
• Experience with SAP, ETQ or similar quality management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily hands-on technical quality support on the manufacturing floor.
• Act as the primary technical quality resource between Product Inspectors, Production, and Product Quality Engineers.
• Perform in-process inspections using standard and advanced inspection equipment.
• Interpret GD&T requirements and apply them to inspection activities.
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAIs) per AS9102 or equivalent and prepare packages.
