Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Advanced Degree with 5+ years experience.
• Hands-on DO-254 or equivalent hardware development lifecycle experience.
• Experience with ASIC/FPGA designs, including HDL development and requirements capture.
• Experience maintaining hardware lifecycle documentation for certification and strong configuration control.
• Experience conducting structured peer reviews for hardware design and verification artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality-focused technical and process oversight of ASIC/FPGA engineering development of Avionics products.
• Perform proactive audits using objective criteria and best practices.
• Analyze quality metrics to identify trends and systemic issues.
• Guide hardware engineering teams on process and regulatory requirements.
• Establish credibility across leadership, engineering teams, and customers.
• Foster a culture of quality in processes and products.
