Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in STEM and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
• Experience leading and managing a Quality team in an aerospace context.
• Knowledge of compliance with FAA standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Foster a team environment of collaboration, respect, and continuous learning.
• Lead a team of quality engineers, technicians and QA in supporting multiple aerospace customers.
• Manage complex problems requiring extensive analysis and investigation.
• Influence others to accept approaches and practices.
• Oversee quality improvement processes to reduce non-conformances and escapes.
• Support site compliance and customer audits; review process control documentation.
• Perform escape management, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Develop proactive quality initiative strategies and drive their implementation.
