Job summary

Collins Aerospace in the United States is seeking a Manager, Quality Inspection to lead a team of 60 hourly employees with two supervisors in an onsite setting. You will inspect incoming, in-process, and finished products to verify conformance with engineering and regulatory requirements, and drive continuous improvements to inspection processes.

The role requires a University Degree or Advanced Degree with substantial experience, strong leadership, and GD&T/AS9102 knowledge.

Qualifications

• University Degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years.
• Must be a U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Directs inspection activities to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Develops inspection plans, balances inspector workloads, and oversees documentation of inspection results.
• Determines inspection methods to maintain efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provides feedback on quality issues, monitors corrective actions, and coaches team members to support skill development and organizational needs.
