Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Minnesota is seeking a Manager of Quality Inspection to lead a 60-hourly team with two supervisors. You will oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections, develop plans, and drive process improvements to meet engineering and regulatory standards.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure documentation accuracy while sustaining a safety-conscious, compliant work environment. This role requires strong leadership and aerospace QC expertise.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience; minimum 8 years in quality/inspection.
• Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspection and aerospace QC.
• GD&T proficiency and hands-on use of measurement systems.
• Strong leadership in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 60-person quality inspection team with two supervisors.
• Develop inspection plans and ensure compliance to specs.
• Drive continuous improvements in inspection processes.
