Job summary

SNC is seeking a Project Manager I to oversee projects from design through release, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to budgets.

The role is ideal for someone with 2+ years in project management, strong leadership abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and PM software. You will work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to sustaining engineering efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
• 2+ years of project management experience or related/technical field.
• Accommodates substitution: 6+ years of related experience in absence of degree.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Demonstrated experience in managing a project.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from design to release, including initiation, execution, delivery, and closeout.
• Develop, define and execute project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables.
• Identify resources for projects and coordinate their allocation.
• Interface with internal and external customers or field-based employees on technical matters.
• Manage simple projects such as studies, small task orders, internal R&D, L0E, or services only.
• Serve as a Control Account Manager on larger programs as needed.
• Track project progress against milestones, budgets, and performance indicators.
• Prepare reports to keep stakeholders informed of project status.
• Coordinate with Sustainment Eng, ILS, Tech Pubs, Configuration Management, and Liaison Eng for alignment.
• Support planning and execution for green-aircraft sustainment tasks and technical disposition integration.
• Communicate project impacts of engineering changes to stakeholders regarding timing and scope.
• Coordinate with engineering SMEs to ensure airworthiness and configuration control alignment.
• Integrate Sustainment Engineering considerations into schedules and decisions.
• Monitor interfaces related to engineering data updates and ensure synchronization.
• Help manage ECR/ECN routing and tracking to maintain momentum.
• Collaborate with Liaison Eng teams for test-plan alignment and troubleshooting reviews.
