Job summary

SNC's ISR, Aviation, and Security business is seeking a Project Engineer I to support planning, coordination, and execution of engineering aspects of product development projects. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of milestones and assist with technical matters.

This entry-level role offers growth in project management and coordination, requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 8+ years of related experience, and may require travel and a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
8+ years' experience in engineering roles.
Knowledge of engineering principles and practice.
Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development team.
Basic understanding of requirements management, system design, and integration.
Experience in building or maintaining a baseline product structure.
Experience with configuration audits.
Experience with configuration change/review boards.
Experience developing repeatable processes for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Own the direction of the configuration management process for the weapon system.
Develop the process for integrating baseline, test, design, and production configurations for the weapon system.
Lead a team of configuration analysts and other engineers to achieve and maintain configuration management for the program.
