Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies, LLC, a full-service surface finishing company serving aerospace, defense, space and satellite industries, seeks a Program Manager to manage customer accounts and programs, coordinating with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery of conforming parts.

You will implement high-level program initiatives, review order status, and resolve issues affecting lead times while maintaining clear communication across quality, operations and finance with the customer.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing or aerospace with a customer-facing role.
• Bachelor degree in Business Management or related preferred.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage defined list of customer accounts (subject to change based on company performance and growth).
• Coordinate with operations and shipping to manage truck routes and schedules.
• Create daily report of customer orders in-house and review dates to ensure on-time completion.
• Resolve issues causing orders on hold or late; escalate to leadership as needed.
• Ensure communication across quality, operations, finance, and customer service to meet expectations.
• Review order dates to coordinate between truck routes and due dates to prevent delays.
• Work with planning, scheduling and contract review to determine order splits for due dates.
• Communicate with customers to pre-plan critical or high-priority orders.
• Ensure engineering docs (blueprints, CATIA models, specs) are retrieved and disseminated to processing teams.
• Mark expedited orders in MRP and note expedite fees in order notes.
• Update MRP customer contact listings for auto-generated acknowledgments and completion notifications.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
