Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in Malden, MA is seeking a Business Unit Leader to drive performance across manufacturing operations and continuous improvement. You will lead cross-functional teams, develop strategies, and manage budgets while promoting Lean practices and ITAR compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, project management, and communication skills to align with our strategic goals and deliver exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or 10 years in a complex manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of progressive leadership experience with direct reports.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. full-time without sponsorship.
• ITAR/EAR regulatory work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the business unit's performance.
• Develop and execute operational strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Drive continuous improvement for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Develop a high-performing team and culture of accountability.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and company requirements.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing implementations to optimize production.
• Own KPIs and data-driven decision making.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production to improve workflows.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage financial performance and budget adherence.
• Promote continuous learning and professional growth.
