Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a Business Unit Leader to oversee production associates, driving safety, quality, and productivity. The role emphasizes Continuous Improvement and lean principle execution in a high-precision manufacturing environment in Eastford, CT.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 1–2 years related experience.
• 5 years of manufacturing and operation/supervisory experience and responsibilities.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor KPIs and achieve goals through proper planning, execution, and resource mobilization.
• Supervise and coordinate work of assigned employees and manage time for parts manufacturing and equipment use.
• Understand stakeholder needs (customers, shareholders, employees) and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead strategic deployment to establish and achieve company goals and drive cultural change.
• Provide periodic presentations to employees, customers, and suppliers; promote Pursuit Values.
• Identify and capture performance improvements through lean principles and implement changes.
