Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in Malden, MA seeks an experienced Quality Engineering Leader to elevate the quality function, mentor a growing team, and drive continuous improvement in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

The role leads quality plans, analyses root causes, and supports new product design reviews and supplier quality management, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of quality engineering experience in aerospace is required.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• Must be able to work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of quality engineers and CMM programmers, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Lead development and implementation of quality plans across product families; manage non-conformances; participate in FAI, MRB.
• Drive process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, and other tools; implement CAPAs.
