Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corp is seeking a Production Supervisor to advocate and support the Corporate WIN Strategy by managing quality, cost, delivery, morale and safety in a production area with 25–50 employees. You will supervise Group Leaders, develop subordinates, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree in a related technical or business discipline with 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality/operations support; ability to analyze reports using systems like MRP.
• Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct work activity of Group Leaders in assigned area.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities; champion Lean Kaizen events and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Ensure quality standards and coordinate corrective action activities.
• Perform capacity analysis and determine staffing requirements for the area.
• Develop and deploy standardized work instructions and ensure process stability.
• Promote and enforce safety policies; conduct safety investigations and audits.
