Job summary

Jobot is recruiting a Production Control Planner in Santa Ana to own scheduling for hydraulic and structural flight hardware, ensuring alignment with the Master Schedule and customer delivery dates.

You will schedule part numbers in the ERP-driven planning system, manage cycle times, tooling availability, and master schedule constraints while coordinating cross-functionally to clear bottlenecks and drive on-time shipments.

Qualifications

• Experience in production control/planning with ERP systems.
• Experience in aerospace/defense manufacturing (AS9100 environments).
• Material control, sourcing, or supply chain experience.
• Work orders, traceability, and configuration control.
• Lean / Six Sigma and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Own scheduling for hydraulic and structural flight hardware to align with Master Schedule and deliveries.
• Schedule part numbers in the planning system based on cycle time and tooling availability.
• Track shortages, outside processing, and gaps; drive corrective actions with suppliers and manufacturing.
• Coordinate across shifts to clear bottlenecks and manpower issues.
• Prepare work orders, maintain manufacturing traceability, and ensure on-time shipments.
• Analyze production status to flag risks and improve service levels and cost.
