Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Production Operator to support the manufacturing and repair of aerospace components in a fast-paced production environment. You will perform a range of production, cleaning, assembly, and processing tasks while following standard work instructions and quality requirements.

Responsibilities include cross-training across areas, using tools and measuring equipment to verify quality, and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to clearly read and follow work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn multiple manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train and perform production operations across multiple manufacturing areas.
• Use hand tools, power tools, machinery, and shop equipment to prepare, clean, process, repair, and assemble aerospace components.
• Follow work instructions to cut, shape, bond, form, inject, cure, trim, drill, and repair composite and metal parts.
• Perform chemical cleaning and surface preparation processes.
• Conduct hand cleaning operations including acid etch, sanding, blending, and deburring.
