Chromalloy is seeking a Production Operator to support the manufacturing and repair of aerospace components in a fast-paced environment. You will perform production, cleaning, assembly, and processing tasks while following standard work and safety practices.

The role emphasizes aviation safety and reliability, requiring precise measurement and adherence to procedures. 1st shift operates Monday–Friday, with responsibilities spanning tooling, inspection, and material handling in a team setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to communicate in English and understand work instructions.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, measuring equipment, and machinery.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and capacity to learn multiple processes.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train across multiple manufacturing areas.
• Use hand and power tools to prepare, clean, repair, and assemble aerospace components.
• Follow work instructions to cut, shape, bond, form, inject, cure, trim, drill, and repair parts.
• Perform chemical cleaning and surface preparation.
• Conduct hand cleaning including acid etch, sanding, and deburring.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify quality.
