Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine, LLC is seeking a Production Operator to support manufacturing and repair of aerospace components in a fast-paced environment. You will perform production, cleaning, assembly, and processing tasks while following standard work instructions and safety practices.

Responsibilities include cross-training across areas, using tools and equipment to prepare and repair parts, and ensuring quality through self-inspection.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to clearly communicate in English and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn multiple manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train and perform production operations across multiple manufacturing areas.
• Use hand tools, power tools, machinery, and shop equipment to prepare, clean, process, repair, and assemble aerospace components.
• Follow work instructions and procedures to cut, shape, bond, form, inject, cure, trim, drill, and repair composite and metal parts.
• Perform chemical cleaning and surface preparation processes.
• Conduct hand cleaning operations including acid etch, sanding, blending, and deburring.
• Use measuring and inspection tools to verify quality requirements.
• Inspect and certify your own work in accordance with established standards.
• Load, transport, and stage components throughout the manufacturing process.
• Operate material handling equipment such as hoists, cranes, and industrial trucks as authorized.
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and manufacturing standards.
