Chromalloy Corporation in Windsor, CT seeks a Production Operator to support the manufacturing and repair of aerospace components in a fast-paced environment. You will perform production, cleaning, assembly, and processing tasks following standard work instructions and quality standards.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement, with opportunities to train across multiple manufacturing areas and contribute to aviation safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to clearly communicate in English and understand work instructions.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and manufacturing machinery.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train and perform production operations across multiple manufacturing areas.
• Use hand tools, power tools, machinery, and shop equipment to prepare, clean, process, repair, and assemble aerospace components.
• Follow work instructions and procedures to cut, shape, bond, form, inject, cure, trim, drill, and repair composite and metal parts.
• Perform chemical cleaning and surface preparation processes.
• Conduct hand cleaning operations including acid etch, sanding, blending, and deburring.
• Use measuring and inspection tools to verify quality requirements.
• Inspect and certify your own work according to standards.
• Load, transport, and stage components through manufacturing processes.
• Operate material handling equipment as authorized.
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and manufacturing standards.
