Job summary

Blue Origin in Merritt Island, FL, is seeking a Technical Project Manager to serve as the horizontal integrator for Gen 2 Production Operations. You will report to the Director of Production, Gen 2 Operations and ensure program execution rhythm end-to-end across four senior teams.

The role requires building schedules, managing decision gates, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving production readiness across facilities and tooling clusters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Systems Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in program or project management within aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing.
• Experience building and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) with large milestone sets.
• Experience owning high-consequence decision gates in fast-paced programs.
• Strong ability to read engineering ICDs, tooling specs, facility drawings, and production rate analyses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive decision packages.

Responsibilities

• Establish and own the Gen 2 Production Operations program management system and cadence.
• Build and maintain IMS with milestone tracking and delta visibility.
• Identify schedule compression opportunities and de-scope options to meet targets.
• Drive all decision gates to closure with clear options for executives.
• Coordinate across organizations to mitigate conflicts and ensure production readiness.
