Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Project Manager III to drive factory automation execution for the GS2 Gen 2 production system. You will own the integrated execution of Project Horizon, overseeing workflows, data synthesis, and capital/savings tracking across the production system buildout.

You will ensure schedule performance, capital governance, and cross-functional alignment among engineering, manufacturing, and program stakeholders. Flexible work location across Blue Origin sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in aerospace manufacturing or production.
• Experience establishing and managing programmatic frameworks including budget management and scheduling.
• Ability to lead multifunctional teams in a matrix environment.
• Experience with new product introduction from development to production.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the programmatic framework for Factory Automation lifecycle from requirements to commissioning.
• Lead portfolio-level reviews of cost, schedule, risk, and technical performance.
• Act as primary accountable for health of Project Horizon Factory Automation portfolio.
• Standardize tools and KPIs across projects to improve predictability and data-driven decisions.
• Lead long-range planning and resource allocation for Factory Automation with engineering, manufacturing, and finance leaders.
• Identify systemic risks and bottlenecks and drive cross-functional solutions.
• Own capital expenditure tracking and savings models with ROI benchmarks.
• Coordinate across Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Controls, IT/OT, Finance, and Program Management.
• Identify schedule risks, budget variances, and escalation with mitigations.
