Job summary

Blue Origin in the United States is seeking a Technical Project Manager to serve as the horizontal integrator for Gen 2 Production Operations. You will report to the Director of Production and coordinate four senior manager domains to keep the program on schedule.

Relocation may be provided, travel up to 10% is expected, and interviews include a technical assessment. This role focuses on program execution rhythm, decision gates, risk management, and production readiness across facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Systems Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in program or project management within aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing.
• Experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary programs from facility activation through first article production.
• Proven ability to build and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) across multiple functions.
• Experience owning high-consequence decision gates in fast-paced programs.

Responsibilities

• Establish and own the Gen 2 Production Operations program management system with weekly cadence and monthly reviews.
• Build and maintain IMS with milestone tracking and delta visibility.
• Identify schedule compression opportunities and de-scope options to meet targets.
• Drive near-term decision gates including facility layout and long-lead orders.
• Create decision packages for executive review and speed.
