Job summary

TAT Technologies is seeking a Product Support Engineer at our Greensboro, NC site to assist the Director of Engineering in developing and implementing repair schemes using reverse engineered data for customer and FAA-DER approval.

You will design CAD data, support repair development, coordinate with machine shops and vendors, and help integrate new repairs into shop procedures while maintaining travelers and process flows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• SolidWorks knowledge.
• GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and design for manufacturability knowledge.
• Inspection and measuring equipment understanding.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent analytical and project management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including technical writing.
• Ability to work with minimum or no supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to shop with part/component overhaul.
• Design and develop repair schemes and repair processes for customer and FAA-DER approval.
• Develop and implement CAD data to support repair development.
• Coordinate with the machine shop for prototype development.
• Coordinate incorporation of newly designed repairs into shop procedures (travelers).
• Coordinate with current vendors to support repair development.
• Coordinate with machine shop, quality and purchasing on inducting new part/component orders.
• Prepare and maintain part/component travelers, process flow charts and reports.
