Job summary

TAT Technologies’ Greensboro site serves as the Center of Excellence for Auxiliary Power Unit and landing gear MRO services, offering repair and asset management solutions for global operators.

The Product Support Engineer will assist the Director of Engineering in developing repair schemes, CAD data, and processes for FAA-DER approval, coordinating with the shop and vendors to implement improvements with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with SolidWorks and CAD data for repair development.
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Excellent written and oral communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for part/component overhaul.
• Design and develop repair schemes for FAA-DER approval.
• Develop CAD data to support repair development.
• Coordinate with machine shop and vendors for prototype and process integration.
• Maintain travelers, process flow charts, and reports.
