Job summary

PG Aerotech LLC is seeking an experienced engineer to prepare design data for electrical and electromechanical aircraft parts using reverse engineering methods. You will coordinate with FAA Designated Engineering Representatives, certification and material engineers to ensure performance and safety for installations and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of full-time relevant design/manufacturing/quality experience.
• Familiarity with aerospace specifications and processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design data for electrical/electromechanical aircraft parts using reverse engineering practices.
• Coordinate with certification and material engineers and with FAA DERs.
• Develop repairs to return parts to service and design automated test equipment (ATE).
• Create production drawings using industry standards and prepare detailed reports.
• Provide engineering support for procurement, manufacturing, and certification.
