Job summary

Aerospace is seeking a Repair Design Engineer for an onsite, full-time role in Wichita, KS. The engineer will support aerostructures non-conformance disposition, repair design, and repair documentation, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure proper substantiation and release.

Experience with CATIA V5 and GD&T for metallic and composite aero structures is required, along with knowledge of engineering release and change control processes to substantiate repairs.

Qualifications

• Experience in Repair design with CATIA V5 and GD&T of aero structures metallic and/or composite structures.
• Engineering release/change control, repair substantiation.

Responsibilities

• Repair non-conformance disposition, repair design, discrepant hardware evaluation, repair concepts, technical substantiation, and repair documentation.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Stress, Design, and Certification teams.

• Preferred: Fuselage, nacelle, pylon product knowledge.
