Job summary

The Boeing Company in Renton, WA seeks a Product and Service Quality Manager to lead 10+ team members on 2nd shift, partnering across functions to meet program goals while promoting accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with customer contracts, engineering requirements and government regulations; developing plans and improvements; coaching on the Quality System; and coordinating with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• At least one year in a leadership role or completed Boeing leadership course.
• 3+ years in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years working with product definition data requirements or processes.
• 3+ years working with/ interpreting engineering data or drawings.
• 3+ years with root cause corrective analysis.
• 3+ years with Quality Management System (QMS).
• 1+ years in Material Review Board processes.
• Willing and able to work 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Manages a team of 10+ employees.
• Ensures products, services and processes meet customer contract requirements, engineering requirements and government regulations.
• Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and strategies to improve performance.
• Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
• May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulators.
• Builds relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
