Job summary

SEKISUI Aerospace in Renton, WA is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to oversee daily production activities, ensure schedule adherence, cost and quality standards, and coordinate with multiple departments. The role requires at least two years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, a technical certificate or degree, and proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ supervision experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Certificate or Degree from college or technical school; equivalent combination of education and experience may be used.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing blueprints, GD&T callouts, and specifications.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office; strong data reporting skills.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to coach and discipline when needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead production team members in daily activities, assigning duties, providing training, coaching, and counseling as necessary.
• Coordinate and communicate production activities with internal departments and external customers, including logistics and engineering.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and safety guidelines to workers.
• Promote flow and pull of products and information to internal and external customers.
• Lead regular communications on performance with the goal of improvement and waste reduction.
• Identify issues on the production floor, implement solutions, and use 5S tools to reduce variation.
