Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for a First-Line Product & Services Quality Manager (Level K) for the Customer Coordination and 777-8F Conformities Team in Everett, Washington. This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite. The ideal candidate will be a reliable and competent professional who can work well across diverse groups and collaborate across organizational boundaries. The candidate will be a problem solver who relies heavily on data and analysis to drive decisions and a leader who can implement solutions in an evolving environment. Transformational leadership skills are necessary to build team engagement and lead quality team members in implementing key initiatives including One Boeing Production System, Defect Reduction and Lean Manufacturing.

Position Responsibilities
  • Manage employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations.
  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance.
  • Provide education and coaching on the Quality System.
  • May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies. Acquire and manage resources and lead process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners.
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading global teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change.
  • 3+ years of management experience with Quality or leading managers/teams in Operations and/or Quality positions.
  • 1+ year of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Must be able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • 3+ years of experience with regulatory agencies procedures and processes.
  • 2+ years of experience with the Material Review Board (MRB) process.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with the One Boeing Production System (BPS).
  • Proven ability to manage, develop, and motivate employees.
  • Experience completing process-oriented tasks accurately and in an organized manner.
  • Self-starter who creates and implements job-related solutions and procedures.
  • Strong Quality Management Systems/Business Acumen; Adaptability, Communication, Continuous Improvement, Customer Focus, Managing Conflict, Building Positive Relationships.
  • Demonstrated skills in team building, systematic problem solving and ethical leadership.

Summary pay range: $143,500 - $153,500
