Job summary

Boeing Future of Flight in Puyallup, WA is seeking Manufacturing Planners for a contract assignment within the Production Engineering organization. You will help implement and sustain build plans, BOMs, work instructions, and tooling to support cost and schedule goals.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in manufacturing, ability to read engineering drawings, and willingness to work 2nd shift. This is a contract through a Boeing-approved third party for the project duration.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing production environment.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• 3+ years of related work experience or equivalent education.
• Willing to work 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains manufacturing plans, BOMs, work instructions and illustrations.
• Integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet requirements.
• Reviews supplier data to ensure requirements are met.
• Develops tooling requirements and manages tools from design to end of use.
• Investigates and resolves manufacturing issues.
• Provides producibility input to design and processes.
• Drafts and reviews processes to meet regulatory requirements.
• Works under general direction.
