Job summary

The Boeing Company, Defense, Space and Security, based at Edwards AFB in California, seeks a First Line Product & Service Quality Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary Quality Operations team focused on flight ramp integrity and regulatory compliance.

You will interface with production, engineering and external customers (DCMA) to ensure products and processes meet contractual and government requirements, with emphasis on airworthiness determinations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Has leadership experience or completed Boeing's internal leadership program.
• 3+ years of root cause analysis and corrective action.
• 3+ years in manufacturing, quality, or program management.

Responsibilities

• Manages employees who evaluate and ensure products, services and processes meet requirements and regulations.
• Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and drives performance improvements.
• Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
• May make airworthiness determinations in line with regulatory agencies.
• Leads resource acquisition and process improvements; builds relationships with customers and stakeholders.
