Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., a Boeing subsidiary, seeks a Quality/Manufacturing Engineer for second shift to investigate supplier non-conformances, contain issues on the shop floor, and validate corrective actions. You will read drawings, First Article Inspections, blueprints, and contracts, and use SAP/MES to ensure supplier responsibility and conformance.

Strong QC skills and the ability to work independently are required.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing and operations.

Responsibilities

• Investigate supplier product rejected by production shop floor for validation of supplier responsibility.
• Ensure that suppliers provide Root Cause and Corrective Action on supplier non-conforming product rejected on tags in SAP/MES.
• Investigation of customer initiated non-conformance tags for validation of supplier responsibility.
• Containment of non-conforming supplier product.
• Becoming Material Review Board approved for validation of supplier rejections.
