Job summary

gpac seeks a Process Engineer to own and improve the production of precision aerospace components by developing manufacturing processes, creating detailed work instructions, and designing tooling for efficient and quality-driven production.

You will interpret drawings and 3D models, design fixtures, maintain MWIs, plan operations with a focus on quality, cost, and throughput, and support Lean initiatives on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• 8+ years in manufacturing/process engineering.
• Ability to read engineering drawings with GD&T and create 3D models.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and create engineering drawings and 3D models to support manufacturing planning.
• Design and detail tooling and fixtures for repeatable, high-quality production.
• Create and maintain Manufacturing Work Instructions (MWIs) and technical docs.
• Plan manufacturing sequences with focus on quality, cost, and throughput.
• Assist in implementing Lean principles and cost-saving strategies.
