Job summary

ALIGN PRECISION is seeking an experienced manufacturing/industrial engineer to conceive, investigate, evaluate, and recommend new equipment, tooling, and processes to improve safety, reliability, capacity and reduce costs. You will lead complex analyses and support production with documentation, work instructions, and test procedures.

Responsibilities include developing fabrication and assembly work instructions, evaluating tooling, performing root cause analysis, and driving Lean initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; 5–7 years of experience preferred.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop aircraft fabrication, assembly, and installation work instructions by evaluating engineering drawings, tool designs, process specifications, and equipment specifications.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools and equipment for the support of manufacturing.
  • Perform root cause corrective action for the support of manufacturing.
  • Train and work with other engineers and planners.
  • Prioritize and adjust work flow to meet customer needs.
  • Participate and incorporate Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
  • Provide liaison support for production floor via work instruction and manufacturing bill of materials modifications.
