Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Dover, New Jersey is seeking a Process Team Control Operator for the Afternoon Shift (Mon-Fri 10PM–06:30AM) at the Howmet Alloy plant. Training runs 6AM–2:30PM for several weeks.

Qualifications

• Must pass Jaeger J1 at not less than 12 inches in at least one eye.
• Must pass inspector certification within a determined amount of time.
• Must be able to read and understand digital scales and other simple weighing gauges.

Responsibilities

• Finish bar stock to meet customer specification.
• Crop, cut out defects, surface grind to produce ingots with proper finish, size and composition.
• Operate Innovex detector and related equipment.
• Carry out Process Team Member duties as needed.
• Pack ingots for shipment and reweigh shipments.
• Ensure shipments meet customer requirements and update computer systems.
