Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Dover, New Jersey is seeking a Metal Workcell Operator for the Midnight Shift (Sunday Night–Thursday Night, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM). The role involves dimensional inspection, visual inspection of castings, and performing finishing operations to meet customer specifications.

Training will occur on day shift (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM) for several weeks. Starting hourly rate is $25.00 with an increase to $27.71 after 12 months, plus a shift premium while on off shifts.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Performs 100% visual inspection as required per job instructions and passes a written visual test.
Belting, stoning and buffing operations to remove visual imperfections.
Dimensionally inspects and repairs castings by hammering, arboring, twisting, stoning, belting, buffing and drilling.
Maintains records and keeps the work area clean and safe.
Follows all safety rules and uses PPE.
Operates electronic gauges and verifies calibration stickers.
