Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Dover, New Jersey, is seeking a Charge Prep Team Member to join our Alloy Plant on-site.

The Weekend Nights shift runs Friday through Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with training on first shift (Mon–Fri 6:00 AM–2:30 PM) for a few months.

Starting hourly rate is $25.00; after 12 months the rate rises to $27.71, and a shift premium applies off-shift; a robust benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Pull and stage raw material according to furnace schedule.
• Sort and verify type of raw material using alloy identification equipment.
• Maintain lot integrity on all material.
• Complete Revert Router forms.
• Accurately account for unusable/scrap metals.
