Job summary

RTX is seeking intern-level engineers for the Effector Analog & Power (EAP) Team to help design robust power systems and related analog circuitry. You will contribute to power conversion, sensor interfacing, and mixed-signal electronics across projects within a DoD-focused framework.

You will gain hands-on experience, collaborate with senior engineers, and present findings to leadership. This US-based role requires active clearance eligibility and a strong academic foundation in Electrical

Qualifications

Pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Electrical or related STEM field and enrolled through internship/co-op.
Minimum 60 credit hours by start of internship/co-op.
Experience with non-isolated converter topologies: buck, boost, buck-boost.
Familiarity with MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica, or similar tools.
Coursework in analog electronics design: FETs/BJTs, op-amp, filters, termination, comparators.

Responsibilities

Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion circuitry for non-isolated and isolated converters.
Assist in circuit card development from requirements to initial integration testing.
Guide ECAD drafters on layout and routing with senior engineer support.
Work as an individual contributor and grow technically in a small team.
Present work clearly to functional and program leadership.
