Job summary

RTX is seeking a student for an internship/co-op in Electrical Engineering in Tucson, AZ. You will work within the Electrical Engineering Directorate on subsystems like RF/analog/digital and contribute to design, test, and support in challenging environments.

The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and process improvements, with access to mentors and career development opportunities. A DoD Secret clearance is required or the ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM major.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship/co-op session.
• Experience with RF, analog, digital, mixed signal, circuit design or analysis.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to CCA and component levels.
• Resolution of issues on production lines and in testing (including suppliers).
• Failure analysis / root cause determination and corrective action implementation.
• Create and present electrical engineering drawing update solutions.
• Investigate and implement process and/or test improvement projects.
