Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation, a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies, seeks a skilled Planner to maintain backlog control from order entry to shipment. You will liaise with Contracts, monitor backlog, and schedule material flow to ensure on-time delivery while coordinating with multiple departments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of planning experience, plus 5 years in production control within aerospace/defense.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 2–4 years planning experience and 5 years in production control.
• Experience in an aerospace or defense environment highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and ability to interpret production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain effective control of the backlog from order entry through shipment.
• Coordinate with Contracts on loading and lead-time for new orders.
• Monitor backlog by planner code and ensure timely deliveries.
• Prioritize material handling to meet schedule requirements and workload.
• Place purchase orders and generate work orders based on MRP messages.
• Expedite orders and plan recovery for potential late deliveries.
