Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking an experienced planner to maintain backlog control from order entry to shipment and to ensure timely, visible delivery progress. You will liaise with contracts, monitor backlog, and coordinate materials against the production schedule.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in production control, MRP/ERP experience, and strong skills in SAP/JDE systems, with a focus on accuracy, scheduling, and on-time delivery of quality parts.

Qualifications

• Strong planning, organizational and motivational abilities.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems is required.
• Knowledge of JDE MRP system is highly helpful.
• SAP knowledge desirable.
• Familiar with machine shop practices and processing standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Contracts on loading and lead-time of new Sales Orders.
• Monitor backlog and coordinate production scheduling.
• Ensure timely delivery of parts via Receiving and Shipping.
• Place purchase orders and generate work orders per MRP messages.
• Negotiate prices and deliveries aligned with schedule.
• Resolve issues to ensure on-time deliveries of quality products.
