Job summary

Eaton's LA facility is seeking a Planner to manage MRP planning, scheduling, and expediting components to support inventory goals and on-time delivery. The role requires coordinating shop-floor priorities and ensuring alignment with the master schedule while driving continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and at least two years in supply chain planning, with experience in MRP systems and SAP.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Minimum of two years in supply chain planning or related area.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Experience with MRP, SAP, or similar systems.
Ability to work cross-functionally and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Allocate, internally manufacture or reschedule material as required.
Plan and release work orders to meet customer orders while maintaining lead times and inventory levels.
Track critical items in SAP to ensure revenue plan and PD targets.
Identify and report potential problems causing missed deadlines or quality issues.
Drive shortage meetings and expedite material to meet demand requirements.
Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure uninterrupted master schedule flow.
Create short-term schedules for value stream and communicate financial projections.
Work with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and MRB/RMA.
