Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Cheshire, CT, is seeking a Production Associate for onsite manufacturing. You will assemble PC boards, solder components, mount boards to gyro assemblies and route wires per diagrams and instructions.

You will perform rework, maintain clean work areas, and participate in cross-training programs to ensure product quality and on-time delivery. The role requires passing a hands-on solder test, a high school diploma, and the ability to read and follow written instructions while

Qualifications

• Pass hands-on solder test
• High school diploma required
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English
• Must handle and manipulate small parts
• Work from written instructions and supervisory direction
• Complete written records for the job
• Meet soldering school requirements to Military/Spec standards
• Meet vision requirements and work with chemicals

Responsibilities

• Follow wiring diagrams, instructions and drawings to assemble PC boards
• Solder components to PC boards and mount boards to gyro assemblies
• Route wires and cut to length as specified
• Perform rework and repair on units from test/quality control
• Keep work area neat and clean; operate tools and equipment as required
• Distribute materials and packaging components for shipments
• Cross-train as required including safety and quality procedures
