Job summary

GE Aerospace in Bohemia, NY is seeking an Electronic Assembly Technician who will independently perform PC board assembly, soldering, chassis wiring, mechanical assembly and inspection to meet quality standards.

You will use hand tools and testing equipment, maintain records, and train colleagues while following drawings and operation sheets. A high school diploma or GED plus IPC‑A‑610 and J‑STD‑001 certifications and 1–3 years of manufacturing experience are expected.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform PC board assembly, soldering, chassis wiring and inspection.
• Follow operation sheets and drawings to complete tasks correctly.
• Maintain records of direct labor time and quality checks.
• Operate testing equipment such as multimeters and flow meters.
• Provide training and mentoring to colleagues as needed.
