Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an on-site technician to plan and perform assembly, disassembly, repair, rework, and inspection of electronic and electromechanical components. You will follow blueprints, wiring lists and routing sheets while maintaining quality documentation and safety standards.

The role requires 1–2 years of related experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent; IPC J Standard 610 solder certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• IPC J Standard 610 Solder Certification is preferred; 1-2 years of solder experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work from blueprints, schematics and lists to perform assembly, disassembly, repair and inspection of electronic and electromechanical components.
• Plan and perform disassembly, rework, repair, assembly, inspection and related operations to meet quality standards.
• Ensure documentation, tools, gauges and fixtures are quality compliant and traceable.
• Perform material handling, records maintenance and ensure proper routing of hardware.
• Use measuring equipment and perform visual and dimensional checks; document results.
