Job summary

Techneeds LLC is seeking a skilled Solderer for its aerospace/high-tech electronics client in Nashua, NH. You will solder, assemble, and rework backplanes, following detailed work instructions and documentation to meet strict quality standards.

You will inspect work, support continuous improvement, and may work overtime on alternate shifts or weekends. The role requires reading schematics, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; J-STD-001 or IPC certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Read and follow work instructions and schematics.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• J-STD-001 Certification or IPC Specialist certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use soldering irons for through-hole, SMT, and jumper wire soldering on backplanes of varying size and thickness.
• Follow process control specifications and assembly documentation.
• Conduct in-process inspections and adhere to acceptance criteria.
• Assist in continuous improvement efforts.
• Comply with safety rules and company policies.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed.
• Overtime on alternate shifts and weekends may be required.
