Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a Production Associate in Cheshire, CT. You will read engineering instructions, assemble and solder PC boards for gyro assemblies, and mount boards to devices while following strict quality standards.

Responsibilities include wire routing, component placement, testing, and cleaning to ensure contaminant-free parts in clean rooms. A hands-on solder test is required, along with a high school diploma and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English
• Must pass hands-on solder test

Responsibilities

• Work from wiring diagrams, operating instructions, assembly drawings
• Assemble, wire, solder production PC boards for mounting with gyros
• Solder components to PC board
• Mount PC boards to gyro assemblies
• Route wires as indicated on drawings
• Periodically clean and maintain work areas and equipment
• Carry out cross training requirements as assigned
